만일 하나님께로부터 났으면
사도행전 5:33~5:42
- 33 저희가 듣고 크게 노하여 사도들을 없이하고자 할새
- 34 바리새인 가말리엘은 교법사로 모든 백성에게 존경을 받는 자라 공회 중에 일어나 명하사 사도들을 잠깐 밖에 나가게 하고
- 35 말하되 이스라엘 사람들아 너희가 이 사람들에게 대하여 어떻게 하려는 것을 조심하라
- 36 이전에 드다가 일어나 스스로 자랑하매 사람이 약 사백이나 따르더니 그가 죽임을 당하매 좇던 사람이 다 흩어져 없어졌고
- 37 그 후 호적할 때에 갈릴리 유다가 일어나 백성을 꾀어 좇게 하다가 그도 망한즉 좇던 사람이 다 흩어졌느니라
- 38 이제 내가 너희에게 말하노니 이 사람들을 상관 말고 버려 두라 이 사상과 소행이 사람에게로서 났으면 무너질 것이요
- 39 만일 하나님께로서 났으면 너희가 저희를 무너뜨릴 수 없겠고 도리어 하나님을 대적하는 자가 될까 하노라 하니
- 40 저희가 옳게 여겨 사도들을 불러들여 채찍질하며 예수의 이름으로 말하는 것을 금하고 놓으니
- 41 사도들은 그 이름을 위하여 능욕받는 일에 합당한 자로 여기심을 기뻐하면서 공회 앞을 떠나니라
- 42 저희가 날마다 성전에 있든지 집에 있든지 예수는 그리스도라 가르치기와 전도하기를 쉬지 아니하니라

행 5:33 At this, the high council was furious and decided to kill them.
행 5:34 But one member had a different perspective. He was a Pharisee named Gamaliel, who was an expert on religious law and was very popular with the people. He stood up and ordered that the apostles be sent outside the council chamber for a while.
행 5:35 Then he addressed his colleagues as follows: "Men of Israel, take care what you are planning to do to these men!
행 5:36 Some time ago there was that fellow Theudas, who pretended to be someone great. About four hundred others joined him, but he was killed, and his followers went their various ways. The whole movement came to nothing.
행 5:37 After him, at the time of the census, there was Judas of Galilee. He got some people to follow him, but he was killed, too, and all his followers were scattered.
행 5:38 "So my advice is, leave these men alone. If they are teaching and doing these things merely on their own, it will soon be overthrown.
행 5:39 But if it is of God, you will not be able to stop them. You may even find yourselves fighting against God."
행 5:40 The council accepted his advice. They called in the apostles and had them flogged. Then they ordered them never again to speak in the name of Jesus, and they let them go.
행 5:41 The apostles left the high council rejoicing that God had counted them worthy to suffer dishonor for the name of Jesus.
행 5:42 And every day, in the Temple and in their homes, they continued to teach and preach this message: "The Messiah you are looking for is Jesus."
없다면 그런 칭찬과 우리의 지식은 성경좀 아는 성실하고 착한 사람..
41절 42절 .. 사도들은 예수님의 이름을 위하여 합당하다고 여김을 받는것을 기뻐하면서
날마다 전도하는 삶..
성경을 아는 지식도 없었고 능욕을 받았다. 가말리엘과 상반된 모습..
사도로 부르신건 세련된 보이는 가말리엘이 아니라 아무것도 없고..
아무것도 없는 사도들.. 2번째는 그리스도인의 정체성.
날마다 예수를 가르치기와 전도하기를 가르치지 않는다.
정체성이 믿지않는 사람과 유일한 차이는 주인이 누구인가 예수님 부활하셔서 구원하셔서 .. 믿는 것. 이 사실을 드러내는 것 그리고 본문에서 또 한가지 알 수 있는게 하나님의 방식대로 그 일을 행하셨다는 것이다.
